Actuarial Society of Malaysia  ASM was founded on 5th October 1978. We are the only representative body for the actuarial profession in Malaysia. Thus, we are platform for members of the actuarial profession to raise and discuss technical and public interest issues related to the practice of the profession; to communicate such issues to relevant parties including the public, industry regulators and corporate stakeholders; to provide educational support to actuarial students and professional development to qualified actuaries; and to provide space for members of the profession to build relationships. Since 20th October 2003, we became a Full Member Association of the International Actuarial Association. We are committed to working towards becoming a fully fledged professional body with a recognised examination and accreditation system.  

Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union  The ABU is a non-profit, non-government, professional association of broadcasting organisations, formed in 1964 to facilitate the development of broadcasting in the Asia-Pacific region and to organise co-operative activities amongst its members. It currently has over 160 members in 55 countries and regions, reaching a potential audience of about 3 billion people. The ABU provides a forum for promoting the collective interests of television and radio broadcasters, and encourages regional and international co-operation between broadcasters.

Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia  The ACEM was formed with the object of promoting the advancement of the profession of consulting engineering by associating together for consultation and cooperation those engineers whose work is of a purely consultative character, and of providing facilities for Governments, Public Bodies, Associations representing industry and trade, and others to confer with Consulting Engineers as a body and to ascertain their collective views.  

Association of Environmental Consultants & Contractors in Malaysia  The AECCOM, was formed in 1992, with the encouragement and support of the then Director General of the Department of Environment, Dato' Dr. Abu Bakar Jaafar. The primary purpose is to look after the interests of its members drawn from all sectors of the environmental business. Current priorities are to establish a link with the regulatory authorities as well as privatisation concessionaires and industries to enable its members to play meaningful role.

Association of Malaysian Optometrists  Our association was form in February 1984 consisting of 200 odd members throughout Malaysia and overseas. In Malaysia we are the only body that represents the optometrist profession. All of our members are either graduated overseas or locally. We are the primary eye care professional who can recognize eye problems and plan a proper course of therapy related to the eye or carry out the appropriate referrals .Through this association, we hope to unite all the optometrists throughout the country and together we will promote by all reasonable means, the encouragement and advancement of the science of optics in its application to the preservation of sight.

Financial Planning Association of Malaysia  The FPAM is a non-profit organisation with a mission to raise the standards of competency and ethical practice of qualified Financial Planners in Malaysia and to educate the public on the benefits of financial planning. It was formed in December 13, 1999 to promote the CFP certification process and the CFP designation as the highest level of competence in the financial planning profession in Malaysia. The Association is represented by a group of corporate and professional individuals representing the diverse financial services industry such as insurance, unit trusts, banking, legal services, stockbroking, accounting services and assets management.

Geological Society of Malaysia  The Society was founded in 1967 with the aim of promoting the advancement of earth sciences particularly in Malaysia and the Southeast Asian region.

Institute of Bankers  Founded in 1977 as the professional and educational body for the banking and financial services industry in Malaysia, Institut Bank-Bank Malaysia (IBBM) has been a leader in providing industry-focused qualifications and training programmes.

Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators  MAICSA as a premier professional body in company secretaryship and administration exists to serve the needs of the various sectors of society, in particular, the corporate sector.

Institution of Engineers  The IEM is a professional learned society serving more than 16,000 members in Malaysia, overseas and the communities in, which they work. It was formed in 1959 and was admitted a member of the Commonwealth Engineers Council in 1962. The Institution is a qualifying body for professional engineers in Malaysia.

Malaysian Bar Council  The Malaysian Bar is a creature of statute established under the Advocates and Solicitors' Ordinance 1947 which ordinance was subsequently repealed by the Legal Profession Act 1976. It is an independent Bar whose aim is to uphold the rule of law and the cause of justice and protect the interest of the legal profession as well as that of the public.

Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants  On July 26, 1958, "The Malayan Association of Certified Public Accountants" was formed by 20 members under the Companies Ordinances, 1940 - 1946. The name of the Association was changed to the "The Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants" on July 6, 1964, subsequent to the formation of Malaysia. In almost four decades that followed, its membership grew to approximately 2500, a testimony of the professional niche that the CPA designation has found for itself.

Malaysian Insurance Institute  Established in 1968, MII's commitment to providing excellence in insurance education has led to tremendous growth in the number of educational programmes and activities currently offered. MII now leads in providing training and education in Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, General Management, Investment, Life Insurance, Marketing and Financial Services.

Malaysian Medical Association  To promote and maintain the honour and interest of the profession of medicine in all its branches and in every one of its segments and help to sustain the professional standards of medical ethics.
